April 15 is approaching! Tax returns are due. You may file for an extension, but you still have to pay any tax due. The first quarter estimated payment is also due. Here is a general calendar.

So what's new for 2010?
- We finally have a healthcare bill! Various provisions of the bill are phased in every year. You may read about the tax impact of the bill on our website.
- This is the last year of the Bush tax cuts.
- There is a business tax credit for businesses who hire workers who have been unemployed for at least 60 days.
- The first time home buyer credit expires April 30.
- The IRS still has credits for energy saving improvements to your home.
